The ATC is part of the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO), better known as the ‘Air Cadets’. We’re a UK-wide Cadet force with more than 40,000 members aged between 13 and 20 years.

Cadets’ Festive Supermarket Fundraising Success

Generous Christmas shoppers’ who were treated to festive music and military efficiency at the tills, have helped air cadets’ bag nearly £1,000 for their squadron.

The youngsters from 346 (Tynemouth) Squadron Air Training Corps played Christmas carols and packed customers bags as they took to the shop floor at Asda Benton Superstore.

We Will Remember Them

Today cadets and officers of No. 346 (Tynemouth) Squadron paraded at both North Shields and Whiltey Bay in remembrance of all those who gave their lives for our freedom. The Squadron Band lead both parades, where the salutes were taken by the chairman of North Tyneside Council and Deputy Lord Lieutenant respectively.
